Integrated Art Lesson - Character Trait Masks April 2021
Our masks based on our study of Karana from the Island of the Blue Dolphins. The outside of the mask they were asked to choose a character trait of Karana. On the inside of the mask they have represented a shared character trait with Karana.
These masks were created by students that joined our classroom after we had studied Island of the Blue Dolphins.

The student were given 3 paint colors randomly, each received 2 types of paint brushes, toothbrush, comb, piece of yarn and string, q-tips as paint tools.
