Retelling a Story with Tableau

• Third graders in Ms. Gibson's class at Lafayette sequenced and retold The Legend of the Indian Paintbrush by Tomie dePaola using tableau.  Focus 5 curriculum was used to develop skills in controlling the body, voice, imagination and using strong concentration and cooperation.  The students below demonstrate their understanding of the main parts of the story.
