The "Big Letter Postcard" was popular from 1930-1940 and remains an iconic "retro" style.  These beautiful, graphic images showcased the resources and wonders of various cities and states.  In this project, students research a state, learn how to create 3-D lettering with one point perspective and then design a postcard of their state using watercolor.
