Animated GIF Emotion Vocabulary Lesson

This lesson has students demonstrate an understanding of emotion vocabulary by recording their dramatic impression of that emotion into an animated GIF. 

This lesson ntegrates SEL, technology, theater arts, and language acquisition!

Template & Website

The template is the slide presentation.  To edit it, students need to make a copy of the presentation.  The GIF site will let students record their actions after they give the site permission to use the camera.

Emotion List

This is a list of emotions that students at different grade levels can demonstrate through facial expression, focal point, and gestures.

A second list includes advanced vocabulary.  (vindictive, mortified, morose, etc)
